How I helped Amazon Handmade (a peer to peer marketplace) increase seller sign ups by 18% using Paid Social Media.
THE CHALLENGE
Amazon wanted to increase the amount of sign ups for the handmade sellers looking to sell their crafts and goods on their platform in multiple markets, including Mexico and Canada.
THE APPROACH
My team created a robust strategy across Facebook and Instagram, focusing on target personas in similar spaces like Etsy. We created Top of Funnel (ToFu) content using 15 and 30 second video formats to capture engaged viewers. We followed up with a retargeting segment of those who had watched 50% or more of the video with tailored ad copy translated to each language with varying CTAs to sign up. Finally for those who signed up we created a 3% Lookalike audience to reach those Meta deemed as being most likely to sign up based on platform behavior.
THE RESULT
My team increased Amazon Handmade seller sign ups by 18% total within 6 weeks of launch.
